C++ Engineer

Luxoft is partnering with a leading global financial market data provider to deliver cutting-edge software that powers real-time financial markets worldwide. We're looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer with deep Linux expertise and a passion for building high-performance backend systems. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within a real-time, high-frequency, low-latency environment where your work directly contributes to the systems connecting global financial markets.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend software and services in C++
• Produce technical design documentation and functional specifications
• Provide effort estimates and contribute to project planning
• Identify, prioritise and execute development tasks throughout the software lifecycle
• Develop robust unit tests and ensure high code quality standards
• Automate development and operational processes using scripting and tooling
• Perform validation, verification and troubleshooting activities
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, Operations and other engineering teams
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to continuously enhance platform capabilities
• Ensure solutions remain aligned with modern engineering standards and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands on C++ development experience
• Experience building backend systems and distributed services
• Knowledge of Docker containerisation technologies
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies and release management
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices

Nice to Have

• Financial Markets or Market Data experience
• Exposure to Trading environments
• Understanding of high-frequency data processing systems
