C# .NET Developer

Plenty of companies run on Microsoft: Windows servers, SQL Server, Azure, Microsoft 365. When a client's web applications and internal systems belong there, we build them in C# and ASP.NET Core, so they sit comfortably with everything else the client runs.

You will build web applications, APIs and integrations, take over existing .NET code and move older .NET Framework applications to current .NET. Performance matters here, and so does code the next developer can follow.

What you will be doing

• Build and maintain web applications and APIs in C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Move .NET Framework applications to current .NET in tested steps.
• Integrate with SQL Server, Azure services and Microsoft 365.
• Find and fix slow requests from the evidence, not a guess.
• Review colleagues' code and have yours reviewed.

What you will need

• At least five years of commercial work in this field that you can show us. We promise clients that everyone on their project has that, so it is not negotiable.
• ASP.NET Core applications you shipped and supported in production.
• SQL Server queries you write yourself, with Entity Framework where it helps and without it where it does not.
• Deployment to IIS, Azure or containers.
• Git in daily use.

Useful, not required

• Blazor or Razor Pages.
• A .NET Framework upgrade that you led.
