In this C# .NET Developer role, you will help build next‑generation trading systems for a high‑profile algo order management business. You’ll join a small, high‑performing London team with visibility and influence over technology choices. The work centers on high‑throughput, low‑latency software that powers billions in daily trades. You’ll collaborate across teams in a fast‑paced fintech environment and shape the architecture of scalable trading infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Develop desktop applications in C# and server‑side components for trading systems
  • Design and implement high‑availability data flows and data warehouses
  • Work on messaging for high‑volume transactions and multithreaded applications
  • Apply TDD (NUnit) and Agile/Scrum practices in a fast pace environment
  • Contribute to application architecture and system design
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and learn trading infrastructure (Bloomberg data flows)
  • Impact the bottom line through reliable, scalable software solutions
Key requirements
  • Computer Science Degree from a top tier university or relevant experience
  • 5 years of commercial software development experience
  • Commercial experience developing desktop applications in C#
  • Good SQL and interest in NoSQL
  • Experience with messaging and high‑volume transactions
  • Multithreading
  • Experience in application architecture and design
  • Ideally fintech/trading tech experience
  • Experience with high availability data warehouses
  • Experience in Agile teams using Scrum
  • Test Driven Development (TDD) using NUnit or equivalent
