C++ Qt User Interface Intern

Build C++ and Qt user interface skills as an Intern with Altera’s Quartus team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Work alongside experienced software engineers.

This Student / Intern position supports software development across Quartus visualization, analysis, and GUI infrastructure. You will design features, debug complex problems, and test tools using C++, Qt, Python, and Tcl. The work spans ideas through productization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design new interface features and infrastructure with C++ and Qt
• Implement and document Quartus user interface capabilities
• Investigate issues and debug complex software problems
• Improve visualization and analysis tool usability and reliability
• Develop unit, integration, and regression tests

Requirements:

• Pursuing Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree
• Interest in software development, user interfaces, or visualization
• Interest in hardware and software systems
• Experience with C++, Qt, Python, Tcl, testing, or debugging
• Eligibility for required Canada export authorizations
