Overview
In this role you will design and build high-performance data infrastructure to power quantitative research and trading. You will develop low-latency, scalable microservices handling large datasets, collaborating with researchers and engineers to deliver resilient systems where performance matters. This position offers the opportunity to shape critical infrastructure that directly impacts research outcomes and trading effectiveness. You will work with modern C++ and distributed systems to tackle complex engineering challenges.
Responsibilities- Develop low-latency microservices for processing, storing and delivering large-scale datasets
- Design and implement scalable, resilient data infrastructure
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers, data engineers and software engineers
- Optimize performance and debugging across distributed systems
- Work with modern C++ and Linux environments
- Contribute to data processing pipelines and analytics tooling
- 4+ years of commercial C++ development
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience with microservices and/or asynchronous multithreaded applications
- Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and clean coding practices
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar technical discipline
