Overview
In this role you will contribute to embedded software development for a UK technology manufacturer, working within an experienced Product Design team. You will be involved across the full product lifecycle from concept to testing, release, and ongoing improvement. You’ll work on both new product development and existing technologies, seeing your work move from development to real-world use. You will apply strong C/C++, Linux, and debugging skills to deliver robust embedded solutions, including wireless and SQL components.
Responsibilities- Develop embedded software across the full product lifecycle (concept, development, testing, release, maintenance)
- Contribute to both new product development and iteration of existing technologies
- Collaborate with the Product Design team in a hands-on development environment
- Deliver robust embedded solutions with emphasis on quality and maintainability
- Utilize version control to manage changes and collaborate with the team
- Work on wireless technologies and SQL-based components as part of product features
- Commercial embedded software development experience
- Strong C and C++ skills
- Experience with Linux
- Knowledge of wireless technologies
