As a Software Engineer–Simulation at Boeing Defence UK, you will design and develop simulation models, visualizations, and virtual environments to improve test performance, safety, and durability across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with stakeholders to derive simulation requirements and model system dynamics across air, land, and maritime domains. You’ll apply modelling, testing, and analysis to optimize overall system performance within defense programmes. - Design, architect, and develop simulation models, visualizations, virtual environments and frameworks to support tests and lifecycle goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture simulation requirements and dynamics of the systems being simulated.
- Conduct design, modelling, simulation, testing, and analysis to optimize system performance and capabilities.
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Proficiency in C++, Lua scripting or a similar programming language
- Familiarity with physics-based modelling and simulation system engineering principles
