Overview

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the pricing analytics library in C# for a Lloyd’s insurer via Quant Capital. You’ll join the Software Engineering Team within IT to support and enhance internal applications and APIs, while building new integrations for US-based clients. You will contribute to greenfield projects and ensure robust testing and documentation. This is a hands-on position that combines fast-paced delivery with technical craftsmanship in a high-stakes financial services environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support and enhance existing internal applications and APIs
  • Greenfield development of new integrations and standalone applications
  • Unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing plus regression testing
  • Audit support and monthly process tasks for internal staff and external customers
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
Key requirements
  • Min 5 years of C# development
  • Proficiency in .NET Core
  • Computer Science or Computing degree
  • Experience with Visual Studio and SQL Server
  • XML/XSD and JSON experience
  • JavaScript framework experience preferred
  • Agile development familiarity
