Responsibilities

As a Retail Manager at Apple , your responsibilities span people leadership, customer experience, and operational performance. You'll be expected to show up as a visible, active leader on the floor while also managing the strategic priorities of your assigned store areas.

  • Lead and develop a team, empowering each member to learn, grow, and achieve both performance and developmental goals
  • Assist with recruiting, training, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team
  • Participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers throughout the store, modelling exemplary service behaviours
  • Address concerns and escalations from customers and team members, partnering with leadership and People partners when appropriate
  • Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by planning and executing operational strategies within assigned functional areas
  • Maintain company policies and procedures , protecting all company assets including confidential business, customer, and financial information
  • Foster inclusion and diversity through daily actions, role-modelling inclusive leadership behaviours and creating a safe, respectful environment for all team members

Requirements / Skills

Apple is looking for a people-first leader who brings both practical retail or sales experience and a genuine commitment to building inclusive, high-performance teams. The ideal candidate is someone who stays calm under pressure, communicates with clarity across different audiences, and leads with both integrity and empathy.

  • Experience leading others in retail, sales or a related field is required
  • Flexible availability to work a schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) if based in Quebec — sign language supported for both languages
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to persist through obstacles and consistently deliver on commitments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor your style to different audiences and coach others through effective feedback
  • Sound decision-making using a combination of analytics, experience, and good judgement
  • Conflict resolution skills and the ability to settle differences in productive, constructive ways

Experience leading others in retail, sales, or a related field. Proficiency in written and spoken French if the role is based in Quebec — English is required for roles throughout Canada.
