Cable and Interconnection Design Authority
BAE Systems
As Cable and Interconnection Design Authority, you lead electronic and mechanical design and integration of complex cable assemblies for underwater systems. You’ll own design governance, liaise with suppliers, and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and production teams to deliver reliable cabling solutions. This role sits within the Underwater team, tackling upgrades, obsolescence and integration challenges in high-safety environments. You will shape designs from specification to release, enabling scalable production and field readiness.
