In this BIM/CAD Specialist role within the Building Engineering Division, you will support BMS design and coordination across diverse projects, using CAD tools to deliver precise drawings. You’ll work closely with Mechanical and Electrical teams to translate concepts into deliverables and maintain design integrity. The role offers growth through AECOM’s development resources and hybrid working options, with a focus on impactful infrastructure projects that shape public and private sectors. You will contribute to a high-performance engineering environment where accurate drafting underpins complex building services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex CADD assignments and coordinate drawing production under the CADD manager
  • Execute advanced CAD tasks using CADD software to meet deadlines
  • Digitize or trace sketches from designers using AutoCAD or MicroStation
  • Make decisions aligned with procedures and business practices to achieve results and deadlines
Key requirements
  • Minimum HNC level qualification or Degree in building services engineering, electrical engineering or computer science
  • Good BMS systems knowledge (e.g. Trend, Tridium, Niagara) gained through relevant industry experience
  • Chartership or working towards it
