Overview

In this role you will support the Building Engineering Division’s BMS design and CAD workflow, partnering with mechanical and electrical teams to deliver BIM/CAD outputs across diverse sectors. You’ll handle advanced CADD tasks, coordinate drawing production, and convert designs into actionable BIM models. You’ll work with AutoCAD or MicroStation to digitize concepts and ensure timely delivery. Responsibilities
  • Perform complex CADD assignments and coordinate drawing production in support of the CADD manager
  • Utilize CADD software to perform advanced applications, scaling and editing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Digitize or trace sketches from designers using AutoCAD or MicroStation
  • Make decisions within established procedures and policies to achieve results and deadlines
Key requirements
  • Minimum HNC level related engineering mechanical qualification or Degree in building services engineering, electrical engineering or computer science
  • Good BMS systems knowledge (Trend, Tridium, Niagara) gained through industry work experience
  • Chartership or working towards
