Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Coverage Type: Scheduled Inpatient Clinical Hours Plus Beeper Call
Schedule: Onsite 7:00 AM 5:00 PM, followed by overnight pager call (5:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Call Radius: Must be within a 30-minute response radius during pager call

Practice Setting: Inpatient / Acute Care Hospital (Level II Trauma Center)
Patient Volume: 7 patients per shift
Support Staff: 4 Advanced Practice Providers (PAs/NPs)
EMR System: Epic
Board Certification: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology required
License Requirement: Active Washington Medical License or active IMLC eligibility required
Certifications / Compliance: Active DEA, ACLS, and BLS required
Credentialing Timeframe: days (Temporary privileges available)

Specific Immediate Coverage Dates Needed (2026)

• November 6 November 8, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite inpatient Interventional Cardiology care, rounding, and hospital admissions from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  
• Manage post-shift overnight pager call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, remaining within a 30-minute response radius of the facility.
  
• Care for an average inpatient census of 7 patients per shift.
  
• Work alongside and support 4 Advanced Practice Providers (PAs/NPs).
  
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical charting, order entry, and daily hospital documentation.
