We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Maryville, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking a full-time schedule, though PRN and call-only availability will also be considered.
Location: Maryville, Illinois
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Assignment Length: 3-month contract with ongoing extension potential through the end of 2026

Schedule
  • Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • 1 night of call per week (negotiable)
  • 1 weekend of call per month (negotiable)
  • Full-time preferred (40 hours/week)
Practice Details
  • Average of 15 patients per weekday
  • Up to 25 patients per weekend while on call
  • Primary responsibilities include hospital rounding and general cardiology care
  • STEMI call coverage and interventional cardiology procedures
Procedures & Responsibilities
  • Hospital rounding
  • Cardiac catheterizations
  • Coronary interventions
  • STEMI management
  • Temporary pacemaker placement
  • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Echocardiograms (Echo)
  • EKG interpretation

  • Patient Population: All ages
  • EMR: Epic
  • Coverage needed through the end of 2026
