Interventional Cardiology locums coverage in Michigan with 24-hour call coverage and a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The need is structured as two coverage blocks to bridge the gap until a permanent physician starts.

Highlights

• Interim coverage needed until a permanent start, defined short blocks rather than open-ended coverage
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient work
• Bread and butter interventional
• Will consider physicians who are not yet licensed in Michigan if you have an active IMLC LOQ

Practice Setting

• Interventional Cardiology, adult patients
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage

Schedule

• 24-hour scheduled coverage with 24-hour call
• Coverage requested in two blocks in December through early January
• Credentialing timeframe is about 30 days; applications prioritized by start date

Cases and Procedures

• Bread and butter interventional cardiology cases
• General cardiology cases
• Must be able to perform TEE, echo, and nuclear medicine

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Michigan license required; will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only
• ACLS and BLS
