Schedule & Call:
  • Monday Friday schedule (Rotation of hospital and clinic coverage weeks)
  • 10-hour daily shifts (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) with 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • No call requirement (Scheduled shifts only; no weeknight or weekend call)
Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Provide hospital and clinic interventional cardiology coverage, including STEMI response and cardiology consults
  • Perform 4 5 procedures per day (including 1 2 TEEs/day) and manage 8 14 hospital consults per day during hospital weeks
  • Manage patients per day during clinic weeks
  • Manage adult and geriatric patients (primarily ages 60+)
  • Collaborate with an established support team including 2 group physicians, PAs, RNs, PCTs, and MAs
Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
  • Active Arizona state medical license OR active IMLC (Willing to license qualified candidates)
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum 2+ years clinical experience required
  • Active recent case logs demonstrating consistent clinical activity in the past 12 months
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff and patients

  • Practice setting: Acute Care Hospital & Outpatient Clinic
  • EMR: Cerner (Includes 4 hours of remote pre-start training)
  • Vendor-provided malpractice insurance
