Interventional Cardiology locums coverage in California with a long term need, mix of inpatient and outpatient work, and a predictable clinic volume of about 12 patients per day.

• Mix of scheduled clinic and hospital consult coverage
• Routine interventional and general cardiology diagnostics, including STEMI and PCI
• Daytime physician support onsite, with APP and MA support

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient Interventional Cardiology
• Adults only
• Clinic volume, about 12 patients per day
• Consults on inpatients and ED patients requiring a cardiac consult, plus interpretation of echos, stress tests, and ECGs

Schedule

• Coverage needed Monday through Sunday
• Scheduled clinic hours are weekdays, with 24 hour call coverage
• Weekday 24 hour call and rotational weekend 24 hour call required

Cases and Procedures

• Standard interventional cardiology, including STEMI and PCI
• TEE and cardioversions
• Pacemakers
• No EP or CTS onsite

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• California medical license required, will not wait for license
• DEA required
