Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology in Mechanicsville, VA

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide interventional cardiology services, including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and heart catheterization.
• Conduct medical management of vascular diseases and perform coronary angiograms.
• Participate in on-call rotations, managing both routine and emergent cases.
• Coordinate with other interventional cardiologists and healthcare providers during coverage.
• Document patient interactions and procedures in the EPIC system.
• Maintain high standards of patient care for adult and geriatric populations.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Virginia state medical license.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to handle a minimum of two daily inpatient admissions.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Clean malpractice history - Required
• Must be available for the specified dates - No exceptions
