Interventional Cardiology Locums Job in Nebraska 8am-4:30pm with Potential Night Call Beginning December 14 - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage dates: December 14 - Ongoing
Priority 1: December 14 - December 20
Priority 2: December 23 - December 25
Priority 3: December 28 - January 3
Ongoing dates needed beginning January
Credentialing time frame: 60 days after completed application

Shift Details
Onsite clinic/hospital coverage: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Potential night call coverage: 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM (not every night)
Facility model: Hub and spoke model across 4 metro campus locations (CUMC, Lakeside, Immanuel, MCB)

Requirements
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
Interventional Cardiology Fellowship required
Active Nebraska and Iowa license in hand OR active IMLC LOQ in hand at time of submission
Active ACLS, BLS, and DEA - Highly Preferred
Clean malpractice and background history - Highly Preferred
Local candidate - Highly Preferred (not required)

Required Procedures / Skills
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Diagnostic cardiac catheterization (inpatient and outpatient)
Impella insertion / management
Angioplasty and stenting procedures
STEMI call coverage
Pericardiocentesis
Temporary pacers
Right heart catheterization

Assignment Details
Practice setting: Academic medical center hub and 3 community cath lab facilities (coverage spans 4 hospitals for call and interventional duties)
Clinical duties: Cardiac caths, interventional coverage, PCI, STEMI call, possible ambulatory visits, and possible rounding with APP support
Daily cath volume: Up to 5 catheterizations per day
Inpatient census: 20 at hub hospital (no rounding at hub hospital; potential rounding at outside facilities)
Support staff: Full Cath Lab team; APP support for inpatient rounding
Reason for coverage: Bridge coverage gap and provide call relief
EMR: Epic
