• Start: March 5, 2027
• Duration: Intermittent coverage throughout 2027, with potential ongoing needs
• Coverage type: Inpatient 24-Hour Beeper Call
• Shift times: 7a-7a
• Call response time: 20 minutes
• Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Cardiology
• Practice mix: Approximately 75% interventional / 25% noninvasive
• Patient volume: Approximately 10-15 patients/shift
• Trauma Level: III
• Admissions: Not required
• EMR: Epic
• Providers needed: 2
• Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days
• Temporary privileges: Not available

• March 5-8, ending at 7a
• March 12-13, ending at 7a
• July 30-August 6, ending at 7a
• August 1-6, ending at 7a
• August 13-20, ending at 7a
• December 24 onward; end date to be confirmed
Clinical Details
• Interventional Cardiology call coverage
• Inpatient cardiac consultations and management
• Interventional cardiac procedures
• Noninvasive Cardiology services
• Nuclear cardiology study interpretation and related activity required
• Must be comfortable with both interventional and noninvasive responsibilities
• Onsite response required within 20 minutes when called
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Board Eligible candidates must be within the facility's accepted post-residency window
• Active CA medical license required
• Active California fluoroscopy permit required
• DEA required
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• Several years of Interventional Cardiology experience required
• New graduates not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
• Nuclear cardiology interpretation experience required
• Updated CV listing all hospital affiliations
• Current case logs required at submission
• Employment gaps greater than 3 months must be explained
• Must meet the 20-minute call response requirement
Compensation
• Facility is accepting bids
• Orientation, 24-hour beeper call, and callback rates requested
• Malpractice provided
• Lodging subject to facility policy
