Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Position Overview:

Coverage Dates:

• February 15 (7:00 AM) February 19 (5:00 PM) -required coverage
• March 22 (7:00 AM) March 26 (5:00 PM) -required coverage
• Additional coverage: Average of 3 weeks of call per month needed

Schedule & Call Details:

• Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (Hospital coverage, consults, inpatient & outpatient Caths, TEEs)
• Weekday Overnight Call: Monday Friday, 4:00 PM 7:00 AM (STEMI Call)
• Weekend Call: 24-Hour Call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM, STEMI Call)

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania State Medical License required OR willing to obtain PA licensure OR IMLC/LOQ in hand accepted
  
• Certifications & Registrations: Active DEA required

Clinical Responsibilities & Volume:

• Scope of Work: Hospital consults, outpatient/inpatient Caths, Echo reads, TEEs
  
• Patient Volume:
  
• Consults: Average of 15 per day
• Procedures: Average of 3 procedures per day
• EMR System: Epic

Procedures & Practice Details:

• Required Procedures: TEEs, Echo reads, Caths, Cardiac Windows
  
• Facility Bed Size: 74 beds
