Shift/Coverage Type: 24-Hour On-Call Shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Setting: Inpatient / Hospital (EMTALA Call Only; No ambulatory/clinic work)
Weekend Requirements: Yes
EMR: Epic Cupid

Practice Details:

• Join a 2-physician group (other Interventional Cardiologists will be present on-site during coverage)
  
• Adult patient population
  
• Respond to all hospital cardiology calls & perform general cardiology consults as needed
  
• Interpret diagnostic studies: EKGs, Echocardiograms, and Stress Tests (including Nuclear Stress)

Required Procedures:

• Balloon Angioplasties
  
• Coronary Angioplasty
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  
• Heart Catheterization
  
• Coronary Angiograms

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certification: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Required
  
• State License: Active Kentucky License & DEA Required (Will consider IMLC candidates with 3 7 days/month availability)
  
• Certifications: ACLS Required ; COVID-19 Vaccination Preferred
