- Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage for an adult patient population.
- Respond to cardiology calls for the hospital.
- Perform balloon angioplasties and coronary angioplasty procedures.
- Provide percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
- Perform heart catheterizations and coronary angiograms.
- Complete general cardiology consultations as needed.
- Read and interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, including nuclear stress tests.
Required
- Interventional cardiology expertise.
- Ability to perform balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, and coronary angiography.
- Ability to provide inpatient cardiology consultations and respond to hospital cardiology calls.
- Ability to read EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
Preferred
- Experience working in an inpatient and EMTALA call setting.
- Experience using Epic Cupid.
