Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Invasive Cardiologist to join Western Carolina Cardiology. This is a rare opportunity to step into an established, busy practice with immediate patient volume as you assume the practice of a respected retiring cardiologist.

Practice Details:

• Procedures and services:

  • Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations

  • Pacemaker implantation

  • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)

  • Nuclear cardiology

  • Echocardiography

• Call: Shared cardiology call to support work-life balance

• Practice: Immediate access to an established patient base in a consultative practice with strong referral relationships and an excellent primary care referral network; average clinic volume of 16-20 patients per day

• Employment: Hospital-employed position with Haywood Regional Medical Center, a Duke Lifepoint hospital

• Team and support: Collaborative, experienced cardiology team with mentorship available; dedicated APP and RN support in the outpatient clinic, with hospital-based APP support to assist with inpatient care; modern facilities with an experienced clinical and administrative support team
