Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive for Permanent locum tenens coverage at a inpatient/outpatient facility located in Muskegon, MI
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Open to Open
This assignment includes outpatient clinic/Inpatient, onsite hospital coverage, comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care and diagnostic testing, and on call weekend with shared cardiology call rotation.

Permanent Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive

Shift: Day shift clinical schedule, approximately 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Details: Full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular team serving the communities of Muskegon and Ludington, providing comprehensive cardiac care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
Patient Population: Patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions including cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, valvular heart disease, lipid disorders, and cardiovascular risk factors
Setting: Outpatient clinic and hospital settings
Responsibilities: Provide non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations; diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions; develop individualized treatment plans; participate in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic; manage lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk factors; conduct presurgical cardiac evaluations; provide inpatient cardiology consultations; collaborate with APPs, RNs, MAs, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and other cardiovascular specialists; contribute to management of implantable cardiac devices including pacemakers and ICDs; serve the Ludington community while maintaining the opportunity to practice within the Muskegon cardiology group.
Required Procedures: Echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), diagnostic cardiology testing, and cardiac evaluations
EMR System:
Support Staff: Advanced practice providers, registered nurses, medical assistants, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic teams, structural heart and electrophysiology services
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Shared cardiology call rotation for hospital coverage; occasional weekend coverage

Required Procedures and Skills

• Non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations
• Echocardiography
• Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Presurgical cardiac evaluations
• Inpatient cardiology consultations
• Congestive Heart Failure management
• Lipid disorder and cardiovascular risk management
• Management of cardiomyopathy, CAD, arrhythmias, CHF, and valvular heart disease
• Management and remote monitoring of pacemakers and ICDs
• Collaboration with interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic teams

Requirements

• Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Cardiology - must become certified within 2 years - Required
• Valid MI license - Required
• DEA - Required
• BLS Certification and maintain recertification - Required
• Clean malpractice and license history - Highly Preferred
