Palm Health Resources is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist for a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity with an established regional healthcare system in Tennessee.
The incoming physician will join a busy, hospital-run Cardiology clinic with strong APP support, covering one hospital and one outpatient clinic within a 300+ bed regional medical center that serves a 14-county region of approximately 350,000 people. AMG and IMG candidates are welcome, and J1 visa sponsorship (TN Conrad 30) is available.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time, permanent, hospital-employed position
- Join a Cardiology group of 3 (2 Interventional, 1 part-time General)
- Coverage of 1 hospital and 1 outpatient clinic
- Busy, established practice - each cardiologist sees 30+ patients per day with APP help
- APPs in both the hospital and the clinic
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM with 1:3 call
- 2 cardiac cath labs, 1 EP lab, 1 vascular lab, and a cardiovascular ICU
- 200+ physicians and 90+ mid-level providers across 40+ specialties
- Friendly, collegial staff and on-site staff/physician daycare with early and late hours
- AMG and IMG candidates considered; J1 visa sponsorship available (TN Conrad 30)
- New graduates welcome; experienced cardiologists preferred
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient General Cardiology care
- Perform hospital consultations, rounding, and outpatient follow-up
- Read nuclear studies, TEEs, EKGs, and echocardiograms
- Manage heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and APP teams
- Participate in a 1:3 call schedule
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Fellowship trained in Cardiovascular Disease
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure
- AMG and IMG candidates considered (J1 - TN Conrad 30 sponsorship available)
- Must read nuclears, TEEs, EKGs, and echos
- Advanced imaging (Cardiac CTA and Cardiac MRI reading) is helpful
- New graduates considered; prior experience preferred
Compensation:
Compensation details are currently being finalized and will be shared as soon as they are available.
