Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Locums - Massena, New York, Cardiology Job

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 6-9 months

Coverage Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

  • Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month

  • On-call coverage from 4:00 PM-8:00 AM as needed to fill coverage gaps

  • Hospital consult service rotation

Practice Details:

  • Solo cardiology practice

  • An APP is currently onsite but is expected to leave at the end of September

  • Outpatient clinic approximately 3 days per week

  • Supervision of stress tests approximately 1 day per week

  • Inpatient consultations and stress lab responsibilities

  • Cardiac imaging interpretation required

  • Epic experience required

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret cardiac imaging studies

  • Provide outpatient cardiology care

  • Supervise cardiac stress tests

  • Manage inpatient cardiology consultations

  • Participate in the hospital consult service rotation

  • Read the nuclear portion of stress tests as needed to support other providers who interpret nuclear studies; preferred but not required

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Cardiology

  • Active New York medical license

  • 5 years of experience preferred

  • Epic experience required

Required Certifications:

  • AHA or RQI certifications
