Position Details
• Full-time with dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient practice
• Shared call amongst providers; physician sees own patients for call during business hours
• Two nearby outreach locations visited by physician once per month
• 24/7 hospitalist program responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
• Fully integrated EPIC EMR across clinics and hospitals
• Experienced clinical and non-clinical staff who know the patients and community
Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Cardiology
• Unrestricted Iowa medical license (or eligibility)
• Unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
