Job Title: Locum - Physician - Cardiology

Summary: We are seeking a locum General Cardiologist to provide coverage as soon as credentialed. Located in the vibrant city of Silverdale, WA, the facility offers a welcoming outpatient clinic environment. The practice thrives with an integrated support team, including medical assistants and registered nurses, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct new consults and follow-up appointments for patients.
• Manage transfer of care patients effectively.
• Ensure patient encounters are closed within 24 hours.
• Result ECGs ordered for patient care and manage Zio monitors as needed.
• Act as the supervising physician for nursing visits and stress tests, ensuring nursing documentation is signed off.
• Work primarily in the office setting, with some duties at Port Townsend once privileges are granted.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Cardiology.
• Strong patient management skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Washington State Medical License (highly preferred).
• Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) with License Ownership Questionnaire (LOQ) in hand (required).
• Active DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications (required).
• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
