Locums Inpatient Cardiology Richland, WA (WA license or IMLC) Why This Role

• Two providers needed
• Seven-on/seven-off schedule
• Long-term coverage throughout 2027
• Approximately 30-day credentialing timeframe
• Noninvasive cardiology only
Coverage Dates
• December 1 Äì13, 2026
• December 28, 2026 ÄìJanuary 3, 2027
• Ongoing coverage throughout 2027
• Minimum commitment: Two full weeks per month
Assignment Details
• Setting: Inpatient
• Daytime coverage: 7:00 AM Äì7:00 PM
• Weeknight beeper call follows each daytime shift
• Daily inpatient rounding
• Patient volume: Approximately 5 Äì10 per shift
• EMR: Epic
• Level II facility
Clinical Scope
• Inpatient cardiology
• ICU cardiology
• Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
• Echocardiography
• Transesophageal echocardiography
• Nuclear cardiology
• Phone consultations and overnight call
• No outpatient clinic required
• No STEMI, cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, or electrophysiology procedures required
Support
• 3 APPs
• No APP supervision required
• No teaching responsibilities
Requirements
• Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease
• Active Washington license or IMLC eligibility
• Active DEA
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with inpatient cardiology, ICU care, echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology
• Clean malpractice, licensing, and background history required
• Must provide at least two full weeks of coverage per month
• Current CV required with submission
Credentialing
• Estimated timeframe: Approximately 30 days
• Expedited credentialing may be considered for clean files
• Temporary privileges are not available
