Position Overview

Flagstaff Medical Center is seeking a General Cardiologist for clinic-only coverage. This is an ASAP start with a 6-month contract and the option of full-time or 2 weeks per month minimum . No hospital responsibilities are required.

Schedule

  • Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

  • Clinic coverage only

  • Premium rates available for full-time commitment

Work Details

  • Patient Load: patients per day

  • Patient Population: Primarily 60+ adults

  • Support Staff: 2 Physicians in the group

  • Department: Cardiovascular Institute general cardiology clinic

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Skills Preferred: Strong interpersonal and relational abilities with staff and patients

Requirements

  • Board Certification: Preferred General Cardiology

  • Licensure: Arizona License or IMLC eligible

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS required

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years

  • Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days

  • Interview Process: Virtual interview via Teams

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient clinic only no inpatient/hospital coverage
