• Pay Range: $75-80 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures as indicated
• Scrubs in for diagnostic, cardiac interventional, and peripheral procedures
• Provides care for adult and geriatric patients during procedures
• Prepares patients for examinations
• Functions in multiple roles including case recorder, cardiac circulator, and scrub assistant
• Reports clinical changes in patient condition to RN or physician
• Performs point-of-care testing per CLIA guidelines as needed
• Documents procedures accurately, including labeling studies, recording procedure details, and entering charges
• Reports equipment malfunctions and assists with general departmental duties
• Maintains clean work areas and replenishes supplies
• Adheres to sterile technique and infection prevention standards

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology
• Demonstrated expertise in CVT technical skills, including knowledge of catheters, wires, stents, and related supplies
• BLS certification required
• Strong competencies in ownership, teamwork, communication, and compassion supporting patient satisfaction and service excellence
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Technologist preferred (diagnostic, cardiac, and peripheral interventional procedures)
• RCIS certification preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
