Overview

As a Professional Services Engineer, you will design and deploy customised monitoring solutions for clients, ensuring seamless integration with their systems. You will act as a trusted advisor to maximise value from our products, lead deployments, and provide training and ongoing support. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic guidance to improve client outcomes and system resilience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams from Leicester, contributing to a mission of advancing community safety through innovative monitoring technology.

Responsibilities
  • Gather client requirements and design customised solutions
  • Install, configure and deploy products in client environments
  • Assist with data transfer to new solutions
  • Integrate products with client systems and applications
  • Improve application availability and customer experience
  • Provide client training on product usage
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-deployment
  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables
  • Stay current with product features and industry practices
  • Act as trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and best practices
  • Conduct progress updates and post-implementation reviews with clients
  • Escalate and coordinate with development/support teams to resolve issues
  • Collaborate with development team and automate deployment, monitoring and resiliency
Key requirements
  • Proven track record delivering complex technical solutions, especially with endpoint security products
  • Software debugging skills
  • Knowledge of web technologies, APIs and data integration
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, network protocols and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with infrastructure security
  • Desirable: SaaS-based security and/or endpoint agent troubleshooting
  • Understanding of data classification and DLP policy design
  • Experience with server configuration automation (Ansible / Terraform)
  • Scripting skills (Python / Bash)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
