Permanent About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Case Management Developer to join our technology team within a leading law firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, maintaining and enhancing the firm's case management systems and associated applications. Working closely with legal, operational and technology teams, you will help ensure that our systems support efficient, secure and effective legal workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with experience in legal technology, case management systems or business application development to play a key role in the ongoing development of the firm's technology environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure and maintain case management systems and related applications
Design and implement solutions to support legal and business processes
Work with fee earners, business teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
Develop workflows, forms, templates, integrations, reports and automated processes
Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support where required
Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and technology
Integrate case management platforms with other business systems and applications
Participate in system upgrades, testing, releases and ongoing maintenance
Ensure solutions are robust, secure, scalable and aligned with the firm's technical standards
Produce appropriate technical documentation and maintain system records
Work collaboratively with internal IT teams and external technology suppliers
Keep up to date with developments in case management technology and relevant industry practicesAbout You We are looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with an understanding of business processes and user requirements. You will ideally have: Proven experience in case management system development ideally across - iManage, Proclaim, SOS or VisualFiles
Experience working with legal technology or within a professional services environment is highly desirable
Experience configuring or developing within a case management platform
Strong knowledge of databases and SQL
Experience with APIs, integrations and data exchange
Familiarity with development and automation technologies such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, PowerShell or similar would be advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A proactive approach to identifying improvements and resolving issues
