Certification Engineer

In this role you drive design and certification work for mission-critical aerospace equipment. You will lead certification activities, translate customer needs into compliant technical solutions, and collaborate with manufacturing to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency. You support bids, test planning, and continuous improvement across projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment. • Translate customer requirements into certification strategies and technical solutions
• Support bids with technical proposals and compliance matrices
• Design and develop products using 2D/3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA or similar)
• Lead certification activities including test plans, reports and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency
• Support production and quality on non-conformances and root cause analysis
• Coordinate with suppliers for development and testing activities
• Participate in project reviews, customer meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

• Experience in design & certification engineering with aerospace focus preferred
• Strong knowledge of certification standards (EASA / FAA / CAA, DO-160, CS-27/29)
• Solid understanding of design for manufacture & aerospace materials
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA
• Experience with GD&T and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
