Certification Engineer

We are recruiting a Certification Engineer to join an established engineering manufacturer in Cramlington.

This is a varied technical role covering product certification, CAD, engineering documentation and product testing . Previous certification experience would be advantageous, but we are also interested in Design, Product or Development Engineers with relevant transferable experience.

The role:

• Support product certification against relevant standards and directives
• Produce and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings
• Support new product development and design improvements
• Prepare technical and certification documentation
• Maintain BOMs, drawings and other controlled documentation
• Support product testing, validation and test reporting
• Liaise with external certification bodies
• Provide technical support across Engineering, Quality and Sales

The person:

• Engineering, design, certification or technical support experience
• CAD and technical drawing experience
• Comfortable working to engineering standards and QA procedures
• Experience producing technical documentation
• Product testing/validation experience advantageous
• Certification/compliance experience advantageous

Package:

• 42-45k
• 35 hours per week
• Every other Friday off
