As a Certification Engineer Enclosure Systems you will report to the Certification Manager in the Quality & Environement department based in West Midlands/Telford for a Permanent contract.

What you will do

• Define and implement certification strategies for new product developments and existing product portfolios.
• Manage product certification projects from planning through approval and maintenance.
• Monitor changes in standards, regulations and certification requirements, and assess their impact on products.
• Coordinate testing activities with validation laboratories and support certification assessments.
• Conduct compliance and risk analyses to ensure product safety and regulatory conformity.
• Prepare certification dossiers, technical documentation and supporting evidence for approval bodies.
• Work closely with engineering, quality and product management teams to ensure successful market access for products worldwide.

What about you?

• Engineering degree or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Initial experience in product certification, product compliance, testing, validation or quality engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical products, standards and conformity assessment processes.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and translate regulatory changes into product impacts.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English. German is a plus
