Certified Coding Specialist

Managing a team of medical coders, the full-time Certified Coding Specialist Supervisor will oversee inpatient and outpatient coding tasks, ensure productivity and accuracy, and facilitate training, all while working remotely during daytime hours. Key responsibilities Monitor and audit medical coders' accuracy and productivity Manage attendance and scheduling needs of medical coding staff Facilitate team meetings and coordinate education and training for coders Required qualifications Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification Associate's degree in Medical Billing and Coding or equivalent Five years of medical coding experience, including two years in education responsibilities Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
