Overview

In this role you will define and govern AXA XL’s enterprise architecture vision, translating business strategy into an integrated technology, data and capability roadmap. You will lead architecture modernization and AI-enabled architecture to deliver measurable business value while ensuring security and regulatory alignment. You’ll drive governance, simplification and resilient design across portfolios, reporting to the Chief Technology & AI Officer. This is a senior, global-role shaping how technology enables growth and customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the enterprise target architecture aligned to business strategy; create multi-year roadmaps for business, data, application and infrastructure domains
  • Own and scale the enterprise AI architecture strategy, including data governance and responsible controls
  • Establish and run architecture governance, design authorities, standards and guardrails; approve major technology decisions
  • Lead technology simplification and modernization, including cloud migration and legacy modernization priorities
  • Translate business strategy into capability maps and operating model requirements; collaborate with senior leaders on gaps and investments
  • Define enterprise integration principles (API strategy, event-driven architecture) and align data architecture with analytics needs
  • Embed security, privacy and resilience by design; work with CISO and risk/compliance to meet regulatory expectations
  • Drive architecture decisions that reduce systemic technology risk

Key requirements
  • Deep expertise in end-to-end business and technology capability architecture with security/privacy/AI
  • Track record of delivering high-impact learning and development solutions and operations
  • Leadership experience managing autonomous, high-performing, globally scoped teams
  • Strong critical thinking, systems thinking and problem-solving skills to optimize service delivery
  • Data-driven decision making with ability to drive measurable outcomes
