Chief Financial Officer – TSXV Mining

We are a Canadian TSXV-listed exploration and development company seeking a hands-on, experienced CFO with proven leadership in the junior mining sector.
Role Overview This is an active, execution-focused role within a small, driven team. The CFO will lead quarterly and annual financial reporting, maintain internal controls and accounting processes, and support leadership on budgeting, strategy, and capital markets initiatives.
Primary Duties
Lead and oversee all quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.
Prepare and manage regulatory filings and ensure compliance standards are met.
Maintain and refine internal accounting controls, systems, and documentation.
Oversee bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting workflows.
Support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and capital allocation.
Identify and implement efficiencies and cost optimization where practical.
Contribute to financing initiatives, including flow-through structuring and documentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Based in the GTA or able to be regularly present in Toronto.
Direct CFO experience with a TSXV-listed natural resource company — this is essential.
Strong working knowledge of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and capital markets.
Practical understanding of flow-through financings and related filings.
Someone who values judgment, execution, and accountability over bureaucracy.
Ambitious, organized, and proactive.
Comfortable owning outcomes and working independently.
Strong communicator who collaborates well but is not afraid to challenge assumptions.
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
