Cisco Telephony & Videoconferencing Engineer to join a leading UK brand in Stevenage.

Excellent high rates (Inside IR35), SC Cleared candidates only, 100% onsite & long term contract. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Cisco telephony and video conferencing projects.
• Support L1/L2 teams with complex incidents and major incident resolution.
• Manage problem resolution, RCA, and continuous service improvement.
• Provide knowledge transfer to technicians and engineers.
• Address customer requests in collaboration with the Capgemini Team Leader/SDM.
• Maintain HLDs, LLDs, technical documentation, and procedures.
• Perform hardware and configuration testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Cisco environment.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco telephony (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IP Phones) and video conferencing (CMS, endpoints, TMS), preferably v12.5.
• Knowledge of VMware v7/v8.
• Strong understanding of SIP and H.323 protocols.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Kurmi, Telisca, Prognosis, PeterConnects, and Real Time monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN networking, security, systems administration, and PC environments.
