eDV-Cleared Java Software Engineers – Mid to Senior – Bristol & Cheltenham

We are currently recruiting eDV-cleared Java Software Engineers for live National Security and Defence programmes based in Bristol and Cheltenham.

These roles sit within some of the UK’s most critical secure environments, building and maintaining mission-critical Java systems.

  • Willingness to work on-site in secure facilities as required

Who We’re Looking For

  • Mid to Senior Java Software Engineers (including Tech Lead-level profiles)
  • Core Java (8/11/17+), Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
  • Microservices, REST APIs and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
  • Build and CI/CD tooling: Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI
  • Containers and cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS
  • Backend and full-stack profiles welcome (Angular/React alongside Java)
  • Secondary languages a bonus: Python, C++, C#
