Client Accountant - Funds (UK Fully Remote)

In this role you act as the day-to-day front office contact for designated private markets clients, coordinating deliverables and timelines. You work closely with CFOs and financial controllers, ensuring accurate accounting and compliant reporting. You will mentor junior teammates and optimize processes to reduce risk and boost efficiency. The position is remote and centers on delivering client-focused accounting expertise within a supportive, collaborative team. You help clients move forward by translating complex financial activity into clear, accurate communications.

• Manage day-to-day client relationships and deliverables for designated funds
• Review financial statements for compliance with UK GAAP or IFRS in collaboration with Managers and Technical & Training teams
• Validate investor drawdown and distribution calculations and communicate cash activities to investors
• Mentor junior team members and develop expertise in client-specific accounting frameworks (per LPA)
• Drive process improvements to balance stakeholders, improve efficiency, and reduce risk

• Higher education qualification (e.g., IATI)
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, or equivalent, or qualified by experience
• 3+ years in a professional office environment, ideally financial services or accounting practice
• Strong accounting expertise including reviewing working papers and financial statements with disclosures
• Proven experience managing client relationships and resolving issues with clients
• Ability to mentor juniors and apply intermediate Excel skills
