Clinical Informatics Analyst

In this role you will work with Clinical Operations to identify data needs and build solutions spanning analytics, visualization, and accessibility. You will collaborate with Clinical Trial Managers to validate data products that boost operational efficiency and support both custom and enterprise-wide initiatives alongside a software engineering team. You’ll evaluate study designs, develop innovative data products, and apply algorithms to describe and predict clinical trial outcomes. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of science and software, shaping data-driven clinical operations.

• Evaluate data needs for projects and propose strategic approaches aligned with study design
• Collaborate with operational and medical leads to develop innovative data products
• Interact with relational data for querying, wrangling, analysis, and reporting
• Develop algorithms to describe, classify, and predict operational outcomes of clinical trials
• Support departmental process improvement initiatives

• Bachelor’s in informatics, computer science/engineering, biomedical engineering, health information, statistics, or related field
• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects on a sprint schedule
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Programming experience in R or Python
• Clinical research experience is preferred
• Experience building web applications (Shiny or Streamlit) is preferred
• Experience building dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire) is preferred
