Clinical Informatics Analyst Nurse

The Clinical Informatics Analyst supports clinical information system design, implementation, and optimization. Reporting to the Manager, this position identifies workflow gaps, revises clinical content, and evaluates quality improvement opportunities. The work connects clinical concepts, patient information, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document requirements for clinical information system design and implementation
• Analyze utilization patterns, statistics, PSLS reports, and change requests
• Support workflow reviews, redesign, validation sessions, and workshops
• Troubleshoot straightforward software problems and provide user support
• Track deliverables, implementation timelines, risks, and incident tickets

Requirements:

• Current RN or RPN registration with BCCNM
• Two years recent direct patient care experience
• One year using clinical information systems
• Knowledge of systems analysis, change management, and project management
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
