Cloud Architect

As a Cloud Architect, you will design and deliver cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud for a growing client portfolio, bridging deep technical work with stakeholder engagement. You’ll work across AI/ML workloads, data platforms, and migrations, providing trusted architectural guidance to delivery teams and clients. You’ll present roadmaps and artefacts, shaping scalable, secure cloud architectures. This role offers impact across infrastructure, data, and application layers in a consultancy setting.

• Architect end-to-end Google Cloud solutions across infrastructure, networking, security, and applications
• Define infrastructure strategies using IaC, containerisation, and CI/CD for production-grade deployments
• Design AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions using Vertex AI, Model Garden, Gemini
• Develop Agentic AI systems and intelligent automation workflows
• Design data platforms and pipelines (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer)
• Lead technical planning and execution of cloud migration and modernization projects
• Act as technical authority in client engagements, running discovery workshops and presenting recommendations
• Identify technical risks, ensure security and performance standards, and share knowledge

• Three+ years in cloud architecture or cloud engineering, preferably in consultancy
• Proven ability to design and deliver GCP solutions across infra, data, and apps
• Practical experience with AI/ML workloads on Google Cloud (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, or Gemini tooling)
• Strong data architecture knowledge (data pipelines and analytical platforms)
• Track record delivering cloud migration and modernization projects
• Professional Google Cloud certification (e.g., PC Architect, PC Data Engineer)
