Cloud Azure Architect

In this Lead Azure Cloud Architect role, you will steer the cloud architecture for a large enterprise undergoing a multi-year transformation. You’ll help define cloud standards, governance, and architectural direction while partnering with technology, product, security, and delivery teams. This high-visibility position shapes cloud strategy from the ground up and influences long-term architecture across the organisation.

• Define and drive cloud standards, governance models, and architectural direction for Azure across the enterprise.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technology, product, cyber security and delivery teams to enable transformation.
• Lead Azure architectural initiatives in an enterprise-scale program and balance strategic planning with pragmatic delivery.
• Influence suppliers and technical teams even without formal authority to ensure alignment with strategy.
• Establish long-term cloud architecture standards and contribute to the cloud strategy from inception to execution.

• Proven experience with Azure architecture in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation programmes (Azure).
• Knowledge of cloud governance, operating models and architecture standards.
