Cloud Data Governance Lead

Lead cloud data governance delivery at Infostrux, guiding technical controls, catalog rollout, and quality frameworks from a hybrid Toronto schedule.

As a Data Governance Architect, you will bridge advisory and implementation work for client data platforms. You will define ownership, accountability, processes, and change management while validating access, lineage, and quality controls. The work spans Snowflake, data catalogs, engineering collaboration, and governance adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run discovery and current-state assessments for governance workstreams
• Specify and validate technical governance controls
• Own architecture and design documentation
• Manage implementation quality, testing, and deliverable validation
• Mentor junior team members and support career reviews

Requirements:

• Understanding of modern data platform architecture and engineering
• Knowledge of access control, data protection, quality, and lineage
• Strong SQL skills for profiling and validating data independently
• Ability to identify risks and implement scalable solutions
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
