Cloud DevOps Architect Consultant, Platform Engineering, Defence and Security, Technology & Transformation

In this role you will design, build and operate scalable platform solutions that underpin client projects. You will embed with developers and analysts to deliver fast, maintainable systems capable of handling frequent changes. You will promote DevOps/SRE best practices, shape reusable toolchains, and mentor junior engineers. Your work focuses on cloud implementation, infrastructure as code, observability, and continuous delivery to enable rapid value delivery. • Build and operate technical platforms and systems for client projects
• Embed with developers, business analysts and test managers to ensure fast, maintainable solutions
• Champion infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and code governance practices
• Develop and mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps/SRE best practices
• Design reusable frameworks and toolchains for the wider engineering community
• Coordinate small teams or components on tooling or applications (desirable)

• Current DV (Developed Vetting) clearance
• Experience in cloud implementation including application development and infrastructure as code
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go
• Strong focus on observability and early issue detection via monitoring/alerting
• Mentoring capability and ability to lead by example
• Ability to design reusable frameworks or tooling for broader use
