In this Cloud Engineer role you will build, secure, and optimize cloud platforms to support mission-critical operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable reliable deployments in a defence-focused environment and leverage cutting-edge technology. You’ll drive automation, IaC, and security practices to scale cloud capabilities while maintaining compliance. - Build and configure cloud services to meet business and application needs
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, cost, and security
- Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, network security)
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for smooth deployments
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based solutions
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling
- Networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls, routing)
- Strong familiarity with AWS services
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
